How do i place a sim card holder to a mitsubishi celphone that is from japan?

I'm not sure, by i think, you can't. Some time ago I had Nokia 5110 from USA. When a went to a service with this phone, man though, it is some kind of toy...
I know, that if you want to ring from phone like this, it must be programmed by Cell Operator. I don't know in which countries they do this, but in Poland they don't.
