GEN unlocker settings

can we, if its not done already, try to assemble a list of what phones more than likely can be matched to what GEN setting on the unlocker. i think this would take out most of the guessing involved. i know theres no way to be sure, but at least it will limit the amount of wrong attempts people make.

Yea i was thinking of that too.. I really want to know what the Nokia 7600 gen is! im goin abroad soon and need to use my 7600 with a dif sim! Help.. me!

I don't know if you have red the sticky, "GEN explained" on top of the forum. There is a very basic explanation (and a discussion) about what gen is. Besides the discussion, the concepts around determinating the correct GEN are correct (the discussion is about where the gen is used, if we use it to generate the unlock code, or if the provider uses it to lock the phone in first place).

It's complex to do what you want, because the box, serials, boxSN or GEN (different denominations to the same thing) are not linked only to the model, instead to the model AND the provider.

We can discuss the thing, and make a little pattern of GEN for different models and different providers. But that task would be very hard, would demand a significative amount of time, and probably by the time it's finished the list is useless due to the constant release of new serials to certain providers. The best way is doing a search on the forum, or posting a new thread.
