Nokia 3100, stuck in headset mode

Hello All,

It is good to see that this site is still up and rocking

I have a problem with my phone (nokia 3100) and hope one of you can help me. Currently it is stuck in headset mode, how this happend i have no clue cause i have never used one

Does somebody have a suggestions how to fix this problem of mine?

i have seen 6310, 6310i, 5100 and 6210 units stuck in headset mode and it was due to a short at the system connector in the phone... maybe there is a little liquid damage inside causing a short?? open it up and if there is, then give it a clean with some alcohol and a stiff brush!!!

Hi electrophoretic, Thank you for your anwser, sure going to try it when i get my tools back (borrowed them to some one).

But it keeps getting stranger, when i leave the phone off for a night, battery taken out, then it functions normally again untill a certian time (sometimes 5 minutes sometimes 1 hour).

I really hope i can fix it!

Anybody else got a idea what i can try untill i get my tools back?

The problem solved itself apparently, cause the phone is working as it should again
