Nokia 7280 "lipstick" phone problem

Hi all,

I have a Nokia 7280 "Lipstick" phone here that has a software problem. When I try to flash a new MCU and PPM onto it I get the following error:

Ok.....

Google is partly my friend in this case. The phone is now booting and running fine just getting no signal. To allow other people to search this is what i did:

I use a Twister Gold box by Saras with the Twister_DCTx software. To flash this phone you need the UFS_DCTxBB5 software. Even though my box has no Hwk fitted the software has a check box to overcome the Mass Memory problem.

So, I now have the problem of no reception. The phone is 100% not barred or blocked but even on manual network search does not find any service provider.

Any ideas...???

OK... sounds to me like a hardware problem!!

as you say your not getting a signal when you do a network search then i would suspect the RF IC... reflow it, if you dont get the signal back then it needs to be changed!!!
