Clone Hwk with Original Twister Box

Hi all,

I have an original Twister box and have been offered a clone Hwk module. How easy are they to get running, what are the downfalls and how reliable are they?

well the original HWK upgrades are down to £80 on certain sites, so if you dont want to kill your box and have to shell out for a new one then you might consider it...

if i am not wrong you can just put a jumper in your box and flash it with certain firmware and it emulates an HWK Module!! a number of amatures have killed thier box this way but its quite safe...

personally i would prefer the original module, this way you have support and a warranty etc...

Hiya,

Thats what i was thinking. Only thing holding me back at the moment is the whole BB5 unlocking problem.

Not sure if the Hwk will be the best option but I am sure the software will soon be updated to unlock when the solution comes.

You know much about 7280's many come by you?
