Problem with S45

Hi everyone!
I have a Siemens S45 and I simply can't unlock it with the cable I used for the x25/x35 series... I haven't tried it with Soft Data Link, but I think can't establish a connection to the PC. I've tryed to upload a new firmware, and nothing... The cable is working properly, as I can upload and download logos and ringtones and other stuff from my old S35i and the M35i... My question is: is there a special cable needed for the x45 series? If yes, where can I get it? I have the original SIEMENS cable that I got from SIEMENS.

PS: What the hell is a dongle? I've heard about dongles for nokias and now dongles for siemens... what's that??
