Can't unlock my Nokia 6101 (RM-76)

Hi everybody,

I am having difficulty unlocking my Nokia 6101 using the codes generated by Crux Unlocker v5.0 in non-expert mode.

I have typed everything in correctly. However, when I enter the final '#' from the keypad, nothing happens; the string of characters just stays on the screen, and all I can do is 'Clear'.

I am in the United Kingdom, and my Nokia 6101 is on the Tesco Mobile network.

Any ideas?

Try with a non-accepted sim card inside. When you'll switch on your cellphone you should get a message: "sim card refused, enter restriction code ?"
Then select OK and fill-in your code again. please post results.

What settings did you use ? Asic2 + Original ?

Hi schpuns,

Thank you for your help; I have now successfully unlocked my Nokia 6101.

However, I still have the 'TESCO' logo in the lower right corner of the screen (where 'Names' would normally be), even with a different network's SIM card inserted.

Any idea if it can be removed?
