After Update of Phone

Hi Guys.. I have updated my phone.. and i thought it worked fine.. signal and so on.. but now i can see i cant recieve Blinking messages anymore.. and when i´m using LogoManager it says "Unknown" Under HW Version.. SW Version says 5.13 as it should....And i cant read the list of people on my sim card... What the hell is wrong ???

That's a good question!

I tried to upgrade a 3330 v4.16 to v4.50, but using -tek- FAID calculator, the MSID change every time i read the phone and no signal after updating. What went wrong? do u know?

Sometimes the msid looks like 00000010000001100000001 or whatever... is it normal?

O telemóvel 3330 v4.16 tava desbloqueado, todos os locks abertos e com zeros, depois de flashar a versão 4.50 MCU&PPM, tava o lock 1 fechado a zeros (tal como antes e como deve acontecer) e tentei calcular e actualizar o faid, mas depois de desbloquear usando o método para as novas versões, o telemóvel ficou desbloqueado mas sem apanhar rede.


O que é que fiz mal?

From my experience, MSID will change as well if using Dejan Box/WinDLS to upgrade MCU + PPM, will confirm it again tonight, coz it's been quite sometime i doesn't use my Dejan Box : )

i update my but now when i put my sim card ,my phone not access my card " sim card not access" . What happend? how can i do ?

MSID is changeable values......when u put sim card after flashing,msid changes,when you unlock phone after flashing,msid changes,when u reset eeprom after flashing,msid changes........
That's why you have to update FAID TO phone RIGHT AFTER FLASHING before msid chnages...............

My german isn't the best, so it's gonna be english (unless you prefer french...).
Basically, my friend has a 3330 v4.16 already unlocked, but i told him to upgrade to v4.50 ( i have a 3330 v4.50). so i read mine (unlocked by new solution), and flashed MCU&PPM to his, but, and according to Abe (he knows...), i should update faid immediately, but i tried to see if the phone turned on and all... When i tried to use the phone after updating faid, i had lock 1 closed to '00000', because in v4.16 it was open and in v.4.50 is closed. After unlocking, no network and resets.

Aha, but you must turn the phone on because FAID can only be updated with MBUS cabel and MBUS works only when phone is turned on. Or am I wrong?

1 flash phone
2 power on the phone and connect to mbus
3 update faid....

now do what you want............
