    Unhappy Help Memory Full

    Dear All,

I have a Nokia 7650 PHone but it does not boot anymore... Because it's memory is full!!! At the end of the boot it always writes "Please contact the retailer" etc... So I can not try the reset code *#7370# as the phone does not let me to write anything... I dont want to take it to Nokia Service Center as I have private banking information and etc in it... So what should I do? How can I reset the Phone? All the data can be lost no problem... But I have to reset it.... I opened inside the phone but could not fount the memory chip and its battery... There was only one battery inside the phone... I took it out for two days but still the data on the memory resides... Please HELP ME!!!

i'm not an expert to tell you what exactly to do, but what i'll give you is a suggestion.

here it is, i doubt it very much that nokia/technical people will get so interested with the data of your phone.. i'm sure they're fixing lots and lots of phone in nokia service centers and your fear of those accounts be known would be not much of a problem. i'm afraid to say that its your only solution. try placing your battery in place again and let it stay there for like 15 minutes then boot it up, if you can connect it to a charger much better, then after 15 minutes PRESS AND HOLD YOUR PHONE'S POWER BUTTON TILL IT FINISHES TO BOOT UP, not just pressing it to turn it off, i repeat PRESS AND HOLD YOUR PHONE's POWER BUTTON TILL IT FINISHES TO BOOT UP. That should clear the memory. (that's what a friend told me that made his phone work again.. its not guaranteed though.. but never the less, give it a try.)

    Question

I think this is very valuable to every one of us as a 7650 user.

Can you tell us the result of the test? Can it boot up now?
