Reset security code on 8310

Have someone been able to successfully reset the security code on an 8310??

If someone was able to perform a code reset, I would like to know the following:

- Tool used
- Operating system used
- The state of the phone (with/without SIM, and if the SIM pin was entered)
- Type of cable

I have a phone with an unknown security code, but none of the tools I've tried have been able to reset it..

this tool that i have attached i have windows ME and im sure it would work on 98 because there kind of simular i used this tool with the sim in and out of the cable and it has never let me down
