connecting a nokia 8310 to a serial cable

I have just purchase a serial cable with a small black box on the end one side of the box has a place to put yor sim into the other side has an angled groove possibly looks like to slide the battery from the phone into.

i have a demo version of logo manager 1.2.9 but i have no idea what to do.

how do i connect the phone so i can update logos etc. is there an faq with pictures.

the guy i bought it of says its and m-bus/f-bus cable whatever that means.

it was my first prob when i got the cable .. i just played with it and found.

remove the battery , remove the sim put .insert the sim to the place in the cable. insert the black box like it was a battery and insert the battery where there is a place for it
