Hi people.
Don't know if this is 100% acurate, but in my case it is.
When u start up kNok and it gives you "Can't prepare phone"
dont reboot your machine, just kill kNok, take out battery out of your phone and take out the cable too, then few seconds later, reconect everything as it was and run kNok again... it should work fine now
