Help needed quck!!!

Hey everyone. Yesterday i brought a Nokia 3310 from my friend. He told me i would need to buy an Orange network SIM card and i did today. Put it in, registered it and everything was fine. Then i turned on my phone. But for some reason i am still seeing his settings.. like welcome message, message settings.. ringtones and other things! I really want to start from scratch but i don't know how! I have tried the #7780# but that just will not work! I also don't know my Security code so i can't put that in! Someone please help me !

if u want 2 remove his settings 4 ever, and to remove the security code and start totally fresh, then flash a virgin eeprom, and then change the imei to the one on the back of your phone, clear sp locks, and update faid...and the phone will seem brand new

No offence, i appreciate you replying but what you just put is jibberish to me. I am a total newbie and have no idea what any of that means. If you could explain then i would greatly appreciate it.. or if you have AIM, Yahoo messenger or MSN you could explain to me on that!

If u want ur phone fully reset to factory settings,this is 2 things that u need.

1.)FBus data cable
2.)Knok95 programs

Here's the tutorials if u hv the tools above.

1.)Connect ur phone via the FBus cable.
2.)Open Knok95 programs/Turn on ur phone
3.)Choose ur phone models
4.)Click "Phone settings"
5.)Choose "Reset Full Factory Settings"
6.)On/Off ur phone
7.)Now u should hv ur phone fully restored with the security
changed to original code <12345>

If u dun understand,spend some times on this forums and try to read the old post and u'll find wat u need to know.
