Converting ringtones

Hello everyone

I'm sure that there are hundreds of questions like this but i'm gonna ask it anyway.

Does anyone know a free software for converting .rtf or .midi files to .rtttl format.
I tryed to do this with logomanager and then replace the original ringtones in the 33xx flash with ppmedit but there was something wrong with the ringtones after raplacements or conversion. When I listened them there were some strange noises and very high tones sometimes.

Can anyone suggest me some good program for converting and for changing ringtones in the flash or do the conversion and/or replacements for me?

just use ur logo manager , but with a little xtra job . here is things
u should do after converting the .rtx to rttl .

logo manager will should be able to convert the rtx to rttl .but the only problem is (maybe it was designed or bugs) .. note b will be displayed as note "h" after conversion thus if u read the file using
nokring or import the file using ppmedit , this note won't played .

ok this step should be able to fix ur probs. Open the rttl file using
windows notepad program . replace all "h" with "b" then save .
done .. hope this will help .

I tried to convert with logo manager and in the nokring file everything was ok but when i loaded the tone with ppm edit (version 1.0a by Tnp) and listened it then there stille were very high and strange tones compared with original ringtones. when i loaded this ringtone to the phone with logo manager then it sounded ok but when i replaced it in the flash it sounded differently. So what could be the problem?

there is another way if u would like to try.Search anywhere
in this forum for RTTL to RE converter v1.1 . This is really good conversion program for ppm edit . Leave your tones
composed by nokring then convert the nokring(.txt) to .re
, finally use ppm edit to import the tones . It should sound
the same as your composed tones , but maybe the octave will differ but the pitch is the same . another thing , in the ppm edit
if u wish to increase the tempo , don't do it with ppmedit , change the tempo using Nokring , and always remember not to update
other than hex data(update button) . if u press the update button
on notes on nokring format(center right btton) , the tempo will not be the same anymore . try first , u'll learn....
