T191 v9.83 and v1.78

Hello!
i currently have a T191 v9.83 (activated) and recenly i received a SP locked T191 v1.78.
What i need to know is if its possible to switch SIMs from one cell to the other?
The v1.78 is SP locked and cant switch cards so i havent been able to test it out myself. I need to know this to see if its worth to buy the Data cable to unlock it.
i heard somwhere that the v9.83 is 1900Mhz and the v1.78 (euro) is 1800 mhz. Does the Mhz has anything to do with my service?

yes yes yes
u cant watch tv with a radio, (or so)
the 9.xx is 1900mhz
the 1.xx is 1800mhz
100 mhz makes a big difference
each channel is separated of just a view mhz, thereis no way a 1800mhz cell can find any channels on a 1900mhz network, I hope u understand. good luck
