Exclamation 3310 new pcb extra stuff

    Howdy
I was just wondering if there is any posibility to 'extend' my keypad on a 3310. Well do something like on a 3350 or a 3410 etc. Well ok, I should change the lcd and the plastic board, but what about the software? Perhaps there's a phone like this already (with the identical as 3310's pcb and a little more keys on the keypad)?
Hope I'm not the only one interested about this.
    Bye.

    3310 extra keys

I have a 3310 and the pcb has the extra keys like on my 3410. i tried my 3410 keyboard and screen on it. The key with the green phone on it just came up as 1 and the down button and red phone didn't do anything.

Did the screen work properly though?

i think it is possible if we're talk about the looks but if you want it to be like the 3350 or 3340... maybe just maybe you have to add another chip or replace it with the chip that is from 3350 or the other...

    screen size

The screen didn't work properly. although it did work but it was in the top left hand corner of the screen and where the extra pixels where it was all black. I was wondering if flashing with differant software e.g.3350 would cure this.

Thats because the 3410 is a higher res than the 3310/3330 screen.

you'll have to replace the flash memry chip to fit the 3350 firm wear then replace the lcd and key pad, then it is posible to flash 3350 firm wear on there and have a 3350 ..

    flash chips

Would the flash ic's be the f16####/f32##### ones because i have 2 3310's with the extra keys and 16mb ic'sand 2 3330's with the extra keys and 32mb ic's, would it be easier to change the 3330's into 3350's or are they the wrong ic's i'm talking about?

    Took the plunge

I decided to try and make a 3350 so i put the screen and covers from my 3410 on the 3330 board and flashed it with 3350v515. There was a few problems, the games would not work but i read on one of the other threads that svangsta flashed his eeprom at 53/54/550000 and it worked so i tried the same and it did work. I would really like to try it with a full 3350 backup but i can't find one anywhere.
