    Need Help on 3390b

My friend gave me Nokia 3390 from US and I am having an error searching signal, it says no systems found when I select manual from the system selection menu. I already unlock it but I still don't have a signal. Please help! F1! F1! F1!
By the way, I'm in the Philippines!
    Thanks in advance!

The 3390 handset is only work in the US due to the handset compability. 3390 is 1900mhz and the frequency in the philippines is 900mhz and 1800mhz that's you can't get any signal.....

    Thanks Nick!
Is there any way I can modify it for me to be able to use it here in Ph?
Or maybe can I replace some parts of it?
Obviously even if I flash it with a 3330 it won't work right?

Your phone can only be used where there is 1900mhz signal. It cannot be modified, it would take hardware changes which is like buying a new phone. Software changes won't work either. I had a 3310 which is 1800mhz and couldn't work here either. So like how a friend gave u then u give the phone away or send it to me that might help me for i have a 3390 that is giving me problems 2

    Take care

Thanks for your info i really appreciate it!

How about 3330 not totally blackout but no display.
When connecting charger it displays the charging bar indicator but when turning on, it just turns on the light and no display at all then after few seconds the light turns off and it's probably off. Pressing the keypad does nothing at all.

    Any advice on this please?

That was before and even after I flashed(Successfully) it. I think flashing doesn't have an effect on the problem, maybe I should check some hardware part of it.

If only I could see some error messages on the screen or just a word, I'd be very happy about it!

I just need some patience i think.
