Everytime I attempt to read a text message my Nokia 8210 locks. It can only be freed by removing the battery. I can send texts but any attempt to read a text locks the phone. Any help please

i dont know any easy way to fix this problem,but it seem ,is better for you the re-flash your phone.
you problem seem like only software problem.

I have this problem as well, brought my set to Nokia Care, and they say my ic mobo is rusty.

The mother board has corroded.

Is it that kind of fault when the display goes blank or just freezes with the text on it ?
