Difference btw Poly and Midi

Is there any difference between polyuphonic and midi ring tones.?
And which is louder?

midi tones can be under poly tones as polytones means multiple tone in one beat, there are also midi tones that can be classified as mono phonic tones. It really depends on how a midi tones were composed...
