Under Nokias 14 day care promise - ("Nokia's program for the prompt new for old replacement of Nokia handsets which fail to perform to specifications within 14 days of purchase") the mobile phone dealer can swap a faulty nokia handset with a brand new one out of their stock and send the faulty one to nokia for a replacement.
My 7650 started to play up after 10 days - Freezing up, resetting etc. So it was sent to nokia for a new replacement, which is usually a simple, painless process, (they send the faulty handset to Nokia, Nokia assess it to make sure it isnt physically damaged, or water damaged etc, after their assessment they then send a brand new replacement back within a few days)
In this case they sent the old handset back rejected saying "Physical damage is evident - Tampering - screws have been incorrectly replaced."
Im going to contact Nokia tomorrow to get some answers on this, as this phone has never been opened or the screws never tampered with; possibly incorrectly assembled at the manufacturing stage?
Just wondering what your thoughts on this are?
What do they mean exactly by the screws have been incorrectly replaced? And how should i go about pushing this ELF through?
