A800 free unlocker problem

I used the A800 free unlocker on this forum. It seems simple enough...
1) Switch on phone
2) Quickly plug in cable
3) Hit READ button in the application BEFORE the fone says insert sim
4) a whole load of stuff comes up and there are no error messages

My problem is which number is the code. Can anyone who has used this help.

Its the 8 digit code directly above where it say net code. same for the othjer one.

Hi All,

Has anyone come across unlocking virgin a800. I tried to unlock several phones without any sucess.

After inputing the codes it is still not unlock.

put a sim THE FONE dont except..
WOT DOES THE FONE SAY????
USE THE CODE ABOVE THOSE WORDS ON THE UNLOCKING PROG!!

Isnt it easier to unlock A800 with *2767*637# code? Or are ya talking about Phone lock?

i am trying to unlock my phone on to o2 i am on virgin now just need to no how to do it its doing me head in can some one help with it from start to finish step by step info think it will help others to.thanks will

DO A READ WITH THE SOFTWARE AS ABOVE!!!
dont close the program, unplug your fone.
put the sim you want in.
it will ask for net code or sp lock code.
just use the code above the writing in the prog!!! (sp lock) (net lock)

no my phone is asking for a password witch i think mite be the net code but i have tryed both sp/nw codes still have a problem i think please i have gone on to much about this fone help me

hi..lot of time i saw ppl saying try *2767*2878# on sgh A800.Its not adviceble at all.cuz A 800 dont have an EPROM in it.so if u do previous code on A 800 some of OGM files willget erased along with that,that will cause no power.u can again flash the phone to retreive power.but that code is not safe at all for this model.even dont try the full reset code in all models cuz callibreation data in eprom will get erased.full reset makes EPROM same as new.it can cause signal problem and IMEI RESET.so take care.
