    .jar files

    argh!

    whenever i download .jar files my pc converts it to .zip

    what can i do in order to install .jar files?!?!?

    all you have to do once you have downloaded it is to rename it to .jar

    windows seems to default .jar files to .zip files when downloading. so if you just rename it as .jar then you can install them ok.
