is it posible to edit the flash to change the
power on button to a differnet one

because my power switch kinda collapsed

i.e holding down the end call button!!!!

Mabye this is a sufficient idea?

U could add a new line into the menu structure with the switch off function.

The most direct way is to add a line like this:

[0x00000000] [0x00000000] [0x00000000] (0x0131) (0x0322) (0x0000) (0x0050) (0x0000) (0x001B)

The 3th 00000000 and the 0322 are important.

Those will make the phone switch off if pressed this menu item.

The usage of G3n0lite to add menu items, and the option DeadBeef to add a menu name like "Switch Off!", is explained some times before on the forum.

Yep this is what i have implemented into my flash on my 3315 for the competition, it only emulates as if the power button has been pressed once and pops up the profile menu though doesnt actually switcht the fone off as such, unless u press ok.....
