No signal after flashing and FAID

I modified a 3310 v5.55 full flash (Text & Graphics), then I use Knok Phoenix to Emulate & Calculate CRC, next I use Nfree 1.3b just to make sure that everything is fine, Flash the file on a Working 3310, Quick set Faid, Convert 3315, Quick set Faid, Reset SP Lock, and then Reset User Settings.

There is no "Contact Service" yet the fon has no signal and sometimes it restarts when a signal is detected

I've tried that on Rolis Flasher 4.78 & Rolis Mbus 1.9 still there is no signal.

I use FlsEdit 0.3 by joox & PPM Editor 1.0a by tnp to edit the full flash. I've even tried to flash a 3310 virgin eeprom, but still the problem persist.... NO SIGNAL

Could some expert on this matter lend me some hand!

I am not an expert
but just trying to make some help
1st of all as I learned it is not advisable that u edit full flash
u should edit mcu and ppm only
so not ask me why as I learned that and did not ask for the reason
2nd did u try nokia tools 3.25 for set faid?
it is very nice and effective

yes don't modify full flash because it may causes problems...and after editing your MCU+PPM try to kill the faid and mcu checks then use eepromtools to update the faid..it does it automatically

sometimes quickset faid dosn't work make emulation from your flash file and calculate the checksums the select set faid not quick set faid

Hi there~

Hmm....i'm not an expert to but wish i cpuld help.
Firstly i would like to know is tat u wan to modify the texts and graphics only wit ur flash file?
To modify text and graphics,use PPMedit V1.0a and it's work well for me.
After modify completed,use Genolite V1.7b to kill MCU CHK , kill FlashCheck/FAID and fix all checks before u flash it back to ur phone.
After flashing completed,use Eeprom Tools V 3.1 to update FAID.
I'm doin this way and everything is fine.

Btw,if u want to convert ur 3310 to 3315,the flash file MUST be Version 5.57 or 5.59.
