7210 screen saver problem

About a month ago I got a 7210 which I had to exchange because it had a defective keypad. The problem with the new phone is that the screen saver appers really faded barely able to see, as if the contrast is set to a very low value.

Changing the contrast in the menue affects all other screenshots, but does not affect the screensaver... I tried factory resetting via the menu option and nia *#7780#.

Furthermore in the store I got it from we opened two more phones which had the same "problem"
Any ideas? Is there a special (different setting) for the screen saver contrast or colour?

The software version is:V 4.24 / 09-01-2003

i have this same problem on 6610 - which is using 4.18 software.

somebody mentioned it could be fixed in 4.28 - but i think i will wait until the 4.66 software comes out...

i agree it is a pain in th butt - looks realy crap too

i did the *#war0anty# on my 6610 and the OS has made date of 022003 - maybe something wrong with phones made on this date - with software build????
