    Unhappy Strange problem with 6310

I have a 6310 which normally works fine for both incoming and outgoing calls.

However, about once a day it seems to go a bit "strange". The Vodafone logo, signal meter and battery meter are still shown on the screen and you can still use all the features of the phone.

However, if you try to ring the phone when it is like this, you get a long pause, then divert to voicemail. If you try to make any outgoing calls the phone looks like it is making the call but there is just silence. The phone at the other end never rings.

The ONLY way to get the phone back to normal is to switch it off and then back on.

This is really annoying because there is no way to know if the phone is doing this or not without trying to make a call, resulting in many incoming calls being diverted even when I'm in range.

    Can anbody please help.

    Thanks

Quite likely a software upgrade would cure this......i know its a bit different but my V3.08 7210 did exactly the same thing until the upgrade. I used to think my phones been quite for a while, turn it off & on and then get loads of texts and voicemail!!

    Good luck......

6310i shuts itself to incoming call

I have same problem. Anyone has a pointer to an update of the firmware that is available on the net.

My firmware version is 5.10, from 11-09-02
