    Buttons spoiled after changing LED... HELP!!!

    I really need some advise from some experts. Here's my problem...

    I've change the orginal yellow LED to white LED myself. Changes 6 of them. 4 of them at the button pad and 2 of it at each side of the LCD screen. Leaving only 2 yellow LED in the middle. I've manage to get the LED's working. I've also "short" the resisitor to make the LED look brighter.

    During my soldering, I've spoild some of my pads but I used the "wire wrapping" wire to connect the LED to the pins of other LED.

    Now... the problem is my button 6,9,0 and # isn't working anymore. I'm suspecting that I had spoiled my while changing the LED. Or could it be another problem.

    1 more thing... Is it possible to buy the 3310 motherboard alone?

    Can someone help me...

    Hm... How do I go about check R415? I've loacted the reisistor, its just below 1 of the LED.

    I've tried to re-heat the solder. Just in case its a dry solder. My button 0,#,6,9 still doesn't seems to be working.

    Can you please advice me on what should I do?

    Thanks in advance...

    Check if there isn't any excess of solder around R414 or V415 thus causing a link between the tips or replace R414 ( visual check using a magnifier) if not then replace V415 located just under R414 & R415 it should work!!!!!!!!

    Argh... the buttons is fixed for a while then its spoiled again. I'm not so sure what did I do... I just reheat the solder and tried to press the button. It still doesn't seems to work.

    After about sometime, my button suddenly got working. But before it was fixed, I found a sim card on the road. It seems that someone lost it. I picked it up and load it into my phone.

    I really don't know what had happen after 30mins later I found that my buttons are working...

    It sounds ridicules but that's how my button got fixed.

    Later, I foudn out that 1 of the LED is quiet dim. Its the one below R415.

    When facing the board:

    (LED) (LED)

    -->>(LED)<<-- This one (LED)

    I went to touch up on the solder on that LED + the others also. After I did it, my button is spoiled again.

    Now, I went to reheat the solder at R415 again but it still doesn't seems to work. I'm going to get a manifying glass to check if the solder is shorted.

    Form my naked eyes and multermeter, its doesn't seems to be shorted.

    I hope someone can advice me more. I believe my handphone can still be fixed.

    Problem 2:

    This is another problem which my friend had faced. She accidentally desoldered one of the component. If I am not wrong its C234.

    When she on her phone, it got very hot including the battery.

    I'm not going over to help her to fix back the component. I hope her phone will be fixed.

    Really need some advice from you guys...

    When facing the board:

    -->>(LED)<<-- (LED) (LED) (LED)
    resistor > o <

    Thanks in advance...

    Hey!!! After re-heating the solder of R415 my button is fixed again. Again, it took about 30min after re-heating before the buttons are fixed.
