What the hell - no codes work ??!!

Something wierd is going on with unlock codes. I am trying to get unlock codes to work for nokia DCT4 phones on the orange network in the UK. I have been using the network code (234 33) which I am sure is correct. I have been typing the codes in correctly also. I have now tryed 3 consequtive phones (2 8310's and a 6310i) i cant get any of them to unlock with the codes. I am doing everything right i think, entering codes 7 and 1 first. Its so wierd, is anyone else having this problem ?

    - is it possible orange could have recently blocked these codes from working, when they found out every1 was doing it ?

any help would be much appreciated

    regards
    - andy

The Orange phones are usually behind with the software
    versions.

Have the phones been tried before?

Try Code 5 first, then 1 then 7.
Use the * key to toggle between
    p w +
If you're using a 8310 leave the sim in
as the early models go in a text mode
and won't accept code with no sim.

If more than about 5 goes, you always get code error
    even with correct codes.

Do *#000# on your keypad for software version.
If it's early you can use a cable with JIC.

The JIC software can unlock the following software versions:
    3510: All versions
    3510i: None
    6310: All versions
6310i: All versions up to but not including 5.10
    6510: All known versions
    7210: None
    7650: None
8310: All versions up to but not including 5.57
    8910: All known versions

It's free and can be download from loads of sites
You'll need an extra program to get the phone into
testmode if you're using an auto F/MBUS lead
    Starwars or similar.

If you have a cheap DCt-4 flasher you can downgrade
the phone, unlock and use a X-shadow patched flash
to upgrade and still be unlocked.

    Hope that helps
