Thread: Adding vibration to poly midi's

Question Adding vibration to poly midi's

Is there an easy way to add vibrate function to existing SP-MIDI files?
I've just got a new phone (6610), and have found poly versions of my favourite tones, but they don't vibrate like the ones that came with the phone. I need the vibrate function since I often won't hear the phone ring (but enjoy feeling it...)

You don't need to do something special for that. Although the phone does'nt vibrate when you check a customized ring from the gallery or from the ring tones section, it does properly (very properly i should say) vibrates by itself when the ring tone is set and a incoming call comes. I'm not sure but I strongly believe that vibration is not build into a midi, the phone vibrates with some specially selected channels. Maybe some midi expert can give a better opinion.
