thanks for your reply. i tried 1 and 7 and neither worked.i dont want to try any other ones as i have already done it a few times. i have heard if you try over seven times it will lock my phone completely. is this true?

Code 5 normally does the trick for me m8.

your phone will be locked completely after 5 wrong codes, not 7.

well i tried 5 as well and it didnt work either. would someone be able to recalculate the codes?? when u say it locks completely after 5 attempts does that mean it will not accept any sim card at all? Cheers

completely locked means that you'll not be able to unlock it with codes (only with cable). it will still function normally with a simcard of your provider.
