firstly, im a newbie... sorry for that.
what do i do with the codes i have for my phone? (the unlocking codes)


i tried locking my phone..
there they prompt me for security code...
then i tried keying in the numbers and stuffs, it doesn't by pass the screen tho...




do i need a special cable? DKU-5?
i dont think IR works right?

what do i need to unlock my phone?

(P: press "*" three times)
(w: press "*" four times)
(+: press "*" two times)

You have 5 tries per lock

Reset Security Code:
You need a fbus/mbus cable and the soft Nokia Soft by Maestro 0.25

infact.. i enabled Security Code on the mainscreen..then before i can access the phone
i have to key in a code..



how do i bypass that, say i dont have the password

If you've already tried all the codes, then you have to unlock it by a cable now, from what I understand. You only get 5 tries, so you're last two didn't do anything. You should have tried the 7th one and the 1st ones first.

the screen you are seeing is not the same screen you need to enter the unlock codes into. the phone is USER locked, meaning that you set a password to prevent anyone from stealing/using your phone. The default password for nokia is 12345. if that doesnt work, then you will need to get the cable and software by maestro mentioned above. the codes that you have are to unlock the NETWORK lock only.
