What phones can be upgraded

can people here list the phones that can be upgraded and what to.

Such as 8210 to 8250 etc

3310-->3315 same phone really only profile bits are different done with a MBUS if software version is 5.45 or above. if below 5.45 flash to 5.45 or above 5.57 is good then change profile bits.

8210-->8250 needs to be a ROM6 phone then flash a 8250 flash on in the normal way.

6210-->6250 flash in a normal way. some people have signal problems with the 180Mhz band.

8250-->2100 flash and a screen change.

3330-->3310/15 flash a full 3310 backup twice 02-->04 then 04-->06

3610-->2100 flash a full 2110 backup twice 02-->04 then 04-->06

8850-->8855 hell knows how search about in the forum for a howto

5210-->8855 full 8855 flash to phone screen is backwards.

3330-->3350 main board MUST have extra key plates then change LCD and frame to a 3410 and flash with a 3350 full flash.

Thats all I can think for now.

Some more.....

8310 --> 6510 ("down"grade but better software! Needs LCD change to 6510 LCD, no further mod needed, just flash)
8310 --> 6500 ("down"grade but stabler software.... no LCD change required! And adds support for active flip cover)
6510 --> 8310 (upgrade, need LCD change to 8310 LCD but better don't do it... 6510 is WAY better)
6510 --> 6500 (downgrade, requires LCD change to 6500/8310 LCD, adds support for an active flip cover)
6500 --> 8310 (upgrade, loses active flip function)
6500 --> 6510 (upgrade, loses active flip function and requires LCD change to 6510 LCD)
8210 --> 8810 but nonsense.... no active slide present
8210 (rom6) --> 8850 also nonsense... no active slide present
8250 --> 8850 same... no active slide.....
8210 (rom6) --> 2100 needs LCD change to 2100 LCD (i heared that 3610 LCD can be used! But not sure)
