3510 , spilled with water... HELP!

my sister's cellfone (nokia 3510) was spilled with water last monday.

apparently, she tried to power it ON, it worked for some time.
but then the phone keeps turning off after some time.

also, the keypad no 6 doesn't work anymore..
but the LCD looks fine, battery and network signal still looks good.

have you had any experience with celfone being spilled with water?

i plan to open the casing of the celfone to clean the contacts..
any suggestions?

some friend of mine told me that the first time water was spilled over the celfone, i shouldn't have tried to power ON the celfone, but it was too late..

My phone fall in watter before 2 months.
After this I immediatelly power off, dehumidify on heater (10 hours), and still work fine

Here's the method ONE MORE TIME!!!

Submerge the board in the meths with the RF shields taken off, for 20 mins! After that take it out and run under a cold tap, then using a bowl full of water with washing up liquid scrub the board firmly but carefully with a tooth brush! Go in all directions! You should scrub on both sides for a total of about 10 mins! Run under tap again thoroughly, and using a hair dryer, set it to the lowest blow mode, but highest heat! slowly run the air over the board twice each side! when thats done, lie the hardryer down and lie the board down flat with the RF shield side up! Allow the hot air to blow OVER the board not directly at it for a further 7-8mins! Allow to cool for 15mins and try it in the phone! Don't forget to replace the RF Shields if it works!!!
