Problem with 3330

Hello. I was wondering if I could ask for some help/advice.

I've got a 3330 which worked perfectly up until last saturday night when I dropped it.

It now takes 5 minutes of pressing the on button very hard to get it turning on and the main 'Ok' button (the one just below the screen) is only partly working.

I don't think the on button is dodgy as when I put on the power cable and the phone is off the phonwe doesn't charge until I have coaxed it to turn on.

If anybody could help me it would be appreciated.

Take the phone apart and inspect for damage! Sounds more like water damage!!!???

I've already done that - no obvious damage as far as I can see. (fortunately or unfortunately). Should I clean the board with meths? Would this be likely to fix it any more?

Yeah, nothing to lose! Here's my guide!

Submerge the board in the meths with the RF shields taken off, for 20 mins! After that take it out and run under a cold tap, then using a bowl full of water with washing up liquid scrub the board firmly but carefully with a tooth brush! Go in all directions! You should scrub on both sides for a total of about 10 mins! Run under tap again thoroughly, and using a hair dryer, set it to the lowest blow mode, but highest heat! slowly run the air over the board twice each side! when thats done, lie the hardryer down and lie the board down flat with the RF shield side up! Allow the hot air to blow OVER the board not directly at it for a further 7-8mins! Allow to cool for 15mins and try it in the phone! Don't forget to replace the RF Shields if it works!!!
