Use Tones in Gallery for Message Alert Tone

Is it possible to use my dowloaded tones in Gallery folder for my Message Alert Tone in Nokia 6100?

One more, how can I know what Firmware Version im using?

Another, what are the reasons why 6100 is more expensive that 6610, aside from being smaller and lighter?

Dont know about your message alert tone but would have thought its not possible.
