they should work unless your phone is a type UEM6 which as far as I know its not

it wont unlock if its been tried more than 5 times before or if your phone is blocked in anyway

what network/country you on to check that code is right

you didnt try
codes 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 did you
because it would have probably been code 7
if you tried the others first then you would have had the 5 attempts before then and cable locked the phone
