8310 - Cant hear the phone ring

Hi there,

This is my first post, i hope it's placed in the right forum.

I have this little problem with my 8310, for a while now i can't hear the phone ring. It also does not vibrate or make tones when i press a key.

I have no probles calling or beeing called. i just cant hear when i am beeing called.

Does anyone know of this problem? And does this problem have a solution?

Hi hvdmolen,

I know this might be sound stupid, but have you check your Tone settings? You may have used 'General' profile but perhaps you have personalised it to 'Off' or 'No tone' or something similar like that.

Just wanna share my experience. I used 3210 before. I noticed, sometimes even my mobile ringing but it didn't vibrate -- even I already switch the 'Vibrate' setting to on--.
After somedays, then it'll vibrate again. Until now, I don't know how that could happen .

That did not sound stupid at all

I have checked the "general" profile and that stated my phone should make lots of noise.
But it still does not.

Maybe new software will help me.

u need to flash the phone ppm then everything will back to normal
