    sim card not ready?????

    Ive recently been given a 7210 which was an insurance job but by the looks of it when it was reported broken by my mate, Orange (UK mobile company) have barr the mobile & i cant get it to register a signal it keep telling me sim card not ready. Is there anything i can do to get it to work????
