Nokia 3650 Out Of Memory.

Is there any way of stopping my 3650 being out of memory for alot of Games (Worms, Italian Job, Snail etc). I have nearly 3mb free on the phone and about 110mb free on the card.

Can't really work out why I get this error, the ABC trick works for Italian Jobs but not the other two.

Can I somehow get it to use the memory on the MMC as RAM instead/aswell as the phone memory?

hi there
this happened to me i had 4mb phone memory used up with nothing in the phone every time i deleted some thing the memory usage went up????
i sorted it by resetting the phone to factory settings
see hand book for how to do this
it worked a treat
as for memory allocation
buy a 128 mb chip £30 or nearabouts
i replaced mine and have over 3 hrs of video clips in on 64 mb of memory i cannot fill it nomatter how i try
a great investment and
i no longer have the out of memory fault

Cheers for that. I have a 128mb MMC so will try a factory reset on it & keep my fingers crossed.

Will factory reset remove any stuff from my phone?

nope. doing a factory rese wont remove any apps in your phone.

Have done the factory reset, but made no difference. Can't really work out whats going on. It shows over 3mb of phone memory free in manager, but still runs out of memory to play alot of games, play video files, sometimes even zooming in on pictures I have taken.

The Firmware is:-

Not sure if there are any known problems with memory allocation on this firmware version. Is there anything that can monitor memory usage so can find out why it gives the error?

As if by magic the phone crashed the other day, erased all the messages in my Inbox & now doesn't seem to be getting the memory errors so often. It still sometimes does it zooming into images and playing .rm in realone.

Was thinking about taking it to a Nokia Service Centre, but wondered if there was a way of clearing the installlation log first.

Is there a newer version of firmware for the 3650 than mine?
