    Midi to ringtones.

If you want the old nokia style single channel ringtones, use a program called nokring to do it on your PC. Then save it in RTTTL format. If you want to jazz this up a bit, drop it into Zenobytes Ringmaster on your 9210 (Try Smogs thread to find it) and add a couple of samples... To get a true polyphonic sound the best way is to convert the midi file to a .wav file using something like Cakewalk on your PC.
    Hope this helps

Wavs can be a slower in playing especially if they are installed on the mmc. MID files are slightly faster in playing than wavs

The wav file has to be loaded to memory first before it can be played unless it is a very small file. MID can be played straight away, wavs contain ALOT more inforrmation than mids.

The choice is up to you which one you would like to use. I personally prefer wav. Much better
