Do I need a flasher cable?

Do I need a flasher cable to do stuff like make the leds fade in and out or invert the screen and stuff like that or can I do it with my normal data cable?

to do fading led's and stuff you need a flasher cable to read your phone for a backup.

then once youve made a copy of your backup, then edited it with nfader, you need the flasher to flash it back to your phone.

I am thinking of buying a flasher cable, can someone list some stuff that i could do with my 8250 if I had one.

you can search the forum and read it for about 36 years, then you can post a question as hopefully by then the question you wish to ask would be something which hasnt already been posted.

Its worth buying the flasher cable set as you can do loads of stuff like flash modding, software upgrading and even phone repair!

Where are you from?
if your from the uk you can find one on ebay for about 12-15 quid!
