5210 Ariel or no ariel ?

i have got a friends 5210 it looks ike there aint an ariel in it!!!!
he has probs with no signal or very little intermittent signal.

Description:

looking at the back of the phone at the top there is a large recess in which i pressume should be an ariel???

with the ariel in place should the back of the phone be 'level' all over ????

i dont mean to seem dumb(honest) just i never got me hands on one of these before and there are ZERO pics of an ariel i can find

No, the 5210 hasn't got external ariel. It has one, but it's in the phone.

basically i gave a discription of the phone and want to know if the internal anntenna is present in my phone from my description

No! And since 5210 doesn't have ex ariels...

Yes it is! There should be a black plastic bit there! An I think the inside part is missing too! Here's pics of both which should be there!
