Contact Service-cobba Parallel Failed

I have a hardware problem on my 3210. It has contact service, and when i check it on Eeprom, it returned a cobba parallel failed.

Do you have any advice on how to fix this hardware problem?

Can any one tell me the location of the COBBA IC? So i can reheat it or replace it with a brand new one. I only got a partial circuit board/diagram of a 3210, i'll appreciate it very much if any one can share a complete comprehensive circuit board/diagram.

This is the chip under MAD2PR1 with signature V20831P

I check my notes and it says that COBBA IC is also known as AUDIO IC.

But i notice that it is somehow bond on the board. How could i remove and replace it safely?

Try a he-heat first! I've recovered quite a few from just a reheat! It's normally just one or two broken solder joints!

Yep try to reheat COBBA firs..if it not help serch in the hardware repair section for my post "how to change chips like CCONT COBBA...." there is brief how to change BGA chips..

I've reheat the COBBA but it still failed. I guess, it needs to be replaced. My problem is removing the MAD CHEMICAL that is glued on the COBBA.

Anyway, i've search the forum and found the "How to Remove The MAD Chemical?" Discussion. I'll try to use paint stripper, then hotair the MAD, hope it can then be lift and removed.

I'll post the result.

HELP!!! I use a paint remover on the COBBA, then hotair the MAD. The MAD glued on the sides of the COBBA was removed but not the MAD glued at the center.

Anyone knows how to complete remove it, or should i just rip it of

to remove cobba or ccont with seal it easy first use hot gun and blow it at least 45second after that use knife and slowly pull it up step by step blow the air to the where u put te knife and then clean it with desolder wire i use hakko type the blue one and make the ball and u make it yeahh
