8390 Water Damage

I have an 8390 phone that went into the pool. The phone was on when it went in. It could not power up after the pool. I tried chunkhead's repair method and was able to get the phone to power on but it displays "contact service". Any suggestions on what to try next or is it a goner?

No, it's still alive! You need a new flash! Go to your nearest Nokia service centre and tell them you want a software upgrade! They will say "We can't the phone has to be working" tell them you don't care and want them to try anyway! This shoukld repair your phone! If not you have more Harware issues! It's harder cos' your phone is DCT-4!
