Problems with Vodafone UK

Has anyone found any problems with Vodafone UK locked phones? I've been using Crux's and WolfMans calculators for a few friends without any problem, but have failed on a couple of Vodafone.

First one failed was:

IMEI:351467101365936
Phone: 3650
Config Code: 23415

tried

#pw+214175440273573+7#
#pw+342216471064010+1#

both said code error

Now second one:

IMEI:350697101002227
Phone:6510
Config Code:23415

tried:

#pw+427137146503631+7#
#pw+716970635401276+1#

Both said code error.

Both phones were locked, tried with Orange & O2 sims.

Second phone is about 2 years old says:

"TYPE" NPM-9 and "CODE" 0507118

on the sticker on the back.

So what's going wrong do you reckon?? All suggestions appreciated.

[b]Don't[/b] enter any more codes before confirmations, don't use up your five tries before cable only unlock...

Vodafone don't generally lock their phones, so try another network SIM and post the message the phone gives or if it gives service etc...

Also you seem to be trying 'V1' codes, get a newer calc from [url=http://www.mobilemods.net/forum2/]here[/url]

Please don't preach your 'rules' to me, I did read the thread. Best to have all information before proceeding. What I have posted is all true.

Oops, see that I calculated a Type 2 for the 3650. I guess the only other thing is that I was using v1 code not v2 - I'll try it. Do they really make a difference??

Yes they Won´t work !!

V1 code is for Old PHONES
V2 code Works On ALL phoneS
And Type 2 codes will not work on type 5 fones and vice verca
