3310 and 3390 dont work on att 900 mhz

I have 3310 3390 8210 which dont log on to att 900 mhz gsm network, but emergency calls work, here in the caribbean, they dont use IMEI checking, any ideas? maybe phones too old? no other 900 mhz network around. I believe the guys here on this island at att dont know what they r doing.

Not too sure,but i am quite sure a 3390 will only work in usa or canada,it runs on a 1900 mhz.also what network are you using ? they dont all work on 900 mhz.

3390 is a dual band 900/1900 isn't it?
here we have 2 companies one is ATT with 900 mhz and the other uses 1900 MHZ, as I said the brand new 3310 and older 8210 does not log on but 911 calls go thru. i tried a 8310 and it works fine, logs on to ATT ok but 8210 does not.

I had 3390 not long ago,and it was 1900 only.it might be worth contacting your nearest nokia centre or even emailing them via there web site

If it finds networks on one frequency and not on another, your problem may be with the antenna switch, reflow or replace it. (little silver chip at the top right hand corner of the pcb)
