Different unlock codes

How is it that when i run different programs with imei and provider code i get different unlock codes?

I thought that there would only be one specific unlock code.

Two possible reasons:

1) One of the programs is a fake and it doesn't calculate them properly.
2) They may be calculating different versions of the codes.

There are three different versions of dct4 codes I'm aware off, v1, v2 and ... something I've just forgotten :P

They all are very similar, just the fourth and fifth digit vary slightly, 1 digit?

actually the codes they calculated are off by three numbers


program 1 #pw+805451225335343+7#

program 2 #pw+805341225335343+7#


i tried a different sim card in my phone to make sure it is locked and it said 'phone restricted' then it asked me to input a restriction code..... any thoughts


Well, i tried the one generated most often by the gernators which was the 805341 code and it worked! Phone restriction off.

your first code is a griffin code, and the second is a normal dct4 dongle code.

both are expected to work, but i would suggest that you try the second one first.
