3650 Doomed!

A Quick one, I've got Doom V1.2 MMC version installed on my 3650. All appears fine but i have one problem: How the $%$£ do i change the Weapons?

The Help says "ABC + weapon #", I presumed that meant press button 2 plus the weapon number. Doesn't appear to work. Also tried pressing 2 then releasing and THEN pressing the weapon number etc..

Any ideas?

erm... . abc is tt lil cute button wif a icon of a pencil on the left... hahaha
