How u upload ring tones to a nokia 3360 with the bios 1.04

Try with ppmmanager91 and ad new tones from other phones.
You can download ringtones with ppmmanager from flash file.

can updating the eeprom be done with irda?

No use M-bus cable for reset factory setings an Flasher cable for flash a new eeprom.
Flash operation it's made with the phone turned off.

@virus2 -- Other than OEM to Svc Centeres we havent seen anyone offering a aftermarket data/flash cables. The 3360 is a TDMA phone.. TOTALLY different than the Euro/Asian 33xx series.


@ultralightning -- Even w/them (cables) however ppmmanager etc.. would not work like virus2 suggested.
Unfortunately since really disliking the 3360 we never messed much w/the ring tones etc... We built a cable before Nok release them but just to do data xfers.

The (irda) in our eyes is worthless on that phone since you cant even xfer #'s in batches its only 1 at a time(Yippee!) the Pc suite software is a mess to get working correctly w/the 3360 and since you have v1.04 there isnt a composer, and how many times do you use the 2player game function?

Where did you get your phone from, ATT? Because we have yet to see a v1.05 flash like they say. Att inventory still has v1.04's. There is a new software version but I dont think you will find many phones yet with it.

i phoned nokia.. they want me to flash my phone to 2.06... but it will costme $$$ to flash.. and there is only one place in BC that can do it...
