My friend needs to unlock his Nokia 6200

I'm totally freaking out because it didn't work, I followed the instructions exactly to the very end.

I turned off the phone
I took out the sim card
I then turned the phone back on
got the insert sim message
I then put in the code you gave to me

I pressed # to complete and as soon as I did that I got a code error message

so then i thought i put it in wrong so i tried again...

did the same thing... and I'm like OH MY GOD! because it's my boss' phone and I totally don't want to lock his phone or anything.

How many tries do you get?? I'm like freakin' out... thanks dude... I know you're here to help...

Please tell me what I did wrong.

The information again (which i rechecked):
The phone is from Cingular and it is locked to a cingular network I'm I don't know the # code for the cingular service, but I am in the United States.

The IMEI # is 351509000234380

before i give you more codes
try an other Sim card and see if it aint unlocked
already
and dont worry you wont lock up the fone
only thing that happens after 5 trys is that you will have to unlock it by cable but the fone will still work with original sim card

Thank you so much for your help man... I greatly appreciate it. It worked perfectly fine with an AT&T Sim card. Do you have any advice for me about learning more about nokias and cellphones in general. Where can I get the program you use to get the codes? Am I retarded? or just blind? please help dude... is there a place where I can leave you a rating or something?

There are some mobile fone site around that give you a walk through the mobile fone in genral
and were you can learn the tricks of the trade
and under the post there is an icon where you can post a poll on me
